The following files were found in the folder //PROTEUS in the intranet of a Think Tank named Esparavel (Spanish for casting net) that prides itself on working in the areas of X-Risk, Apocalypse Economics and Polycrisis. Based in the UK, with offices in the Amsterdam, Shanghai and Buenos Aires, Esparavel was hired by the US State Department and the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs to look into a series of anomalies taking place worldwide that involve all sorts of commodities.

We have uploaded two introductory letters along with two reports which we think are of interest to the general public and delineate the origins of the “Proteus event”, which apparently lie in an “unadvertised” project called Pacific, that connected the markets on the West Coast of the United States and those in East Asia via a 0 latency channel (See FAQs). This event, of which we have heard mentions in the deep web, appears to be gaining momentum in the last few months.

The first file, titled “Report by the Scientific Commission to Members with Orange Access”, presents a preliminary chronology of the event, testimonies of alterations to commodities, fragments of a previous report titled “One single time: Proteus as a consequence of the temporal merger of global financial markets”. More interestingly, this reports talks of the disappearance of Professor Adity Thakur, one of the scholars in charge of the early stages of the project during an expedition to Pacific One, the first relay station to be built in the 180 meridian. The report also includes transcriptions of Dr. Thakur’s diary and some of her preliminary insights into the nature of the phenomenon.

The second file, is titled “Report of Esparavel’s techno-scientific commission following the disappearance of Professor Adity Thakur and her team”. It deals with the background of the Pacific Project and proposes a third order cybernetics along with a geometric characterization of time to understand the phenomena that is seemingly spawning from the Pacific One station. These images have been circulating the deep web for some weeks now.

We have also included a news folder with screenshots of two broken links dealing with articles that seem to be connected with Proteus and that were taken offline recently. In both cases we managed to copy the text to an html file that feature it in full.

Similarly, we have included a folder titled “screenshots” containing two of the screenshots found on the Esparavel intranet. The first is an entry from the Rotterdam port import-export system showing transactions for April 2025, among which some stand out with dates up to forty-six years in the future, i.e., documents detailing the import of goods to this port in the year 2071. The second screenshot is from an application that showed three unknown cryptocurrencies in the registry of one of the distributed ledgers of a hacker's digital mining rig, whose name was censored in the documents. (See item 2 in the chronology in the first report). According to this document, this finding had been corroborated by nineteen other rig operators associated with this database in eleven different countries in South America and West Africa.

We will upload more material to this repository as we filter it and evaluate it.
